MESHA clears twelve candidates to vie for 2024 Board Election

The Media for Environment, Science, Health, and Agriculture (MESHA) has cleared twelve candidates to vie for board of management positions in this year’s election.

Eight candidates are vying for the position of four ordinary board members as contained in the constitution. They join other candidates that are vying for the chairman, vice chairman and treasurer positions to steward the association to fulfill its mandate for the next three years.

The election results will be announced during MESHA’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for the morning of November 21, 2024.

Members started voting online on November 16 and will run until November 18 at 6pm to allow for on time tallying. The voting portal is already open for the 80 fully paid up members to vote for their preferred candidates.

The candidates drawn from different regions, and media houses will battle it out during the association’s election that will put forward gender card forward in the board formation.
