Media science cafes on COP28 kick off

Journalists who will cover the next UN Conference on Climate Change fondly referred to as COP28 with support from Media for Environment, Science, Health, and Agriculture (MESHA) will today begin the fellowship by attending the first media science café virtually.

Kenya Met warns of impending heavy rains in October

Kenyans have been warned of impending destructive heavy rains due in October all the way to January.
According to the Director of Kenya Meteorological Department, Dr David Gikungu the rains will be accompanied with floods, landslides and disease outbreaks as a result of the conditions known as El Nino.
